At nourish we offer a wide range of activities, courses and on site vocational training. We also offer vocational training at a pre NVQ level with our specially taylored twelve week courses designed to give people a taste of hospitality or horticuture. At every step of the way our volunteers are involved in their training plan and work with us to ensure that they are getting the right expeience for them. The main aim of our vocational programme is to give our trainees the skills, tools and qualifications they require to move into gainful employment.
A trainee that completes the catering NVQ with us will leave the project with a Uniform, food safety and health and safety certificates, references and records of acheivements as well as a wealth of experience of working in a real live environment, oh and a bunch of tasty recipes, courtesy of the noursh team.
We also, through our partnership with care co-ops, actively seek to support them in finding a work placement and preparing them for the move. |
